Concession Duty

Madison Babe Ruth Baseball is responsible for 2 areas of concession. The Upper Concession Stand at Palmer Park near Field 5 and the Concession Stand at Discovery. The Prep-13 League is responsible for the Upper Stand at Palmer and the 14-15 League is responsible for the concession stand at Discovery.

Please understand that we operate and staff these concession stand to increase our revenue. This added income is critical. Without the expected income from these concessions, our registration fees would have to increase. 

Prep-13
The Babe Ruth Prep-13 League is totally responsible for the Upper Concession Stand near Field 5 every Tuesday and Thursday. Since there are only 4 teams, each team will have concession duty between 8-10 times over the next 8 weeks. Teams will be assigned concession duty on the same night their team plays. A team playing the early game will have the late concession shift and a team playing late will have the early concession shift. 

Please understand, we are performing concession duty time that is equal to the percentage of players we have versus the Madison Dixie Youth Baseball League. We then share in that same percentage of the profits from concessions. This income is absolutely critical to our Babe Ruth organization.

A Concession Schedule will be available before the start of the season.
